Be beautiful, stay beautiful!

The days were beautiful than ever, the heart was singing loud, the love was in the air. I was travelling back to my city from my native. Overnight journey. It was looking longer than ever I travelled before, the reason that I was supposed to meet him. Meet him!! yes, meet him who is known to me by just words & letters. Today it will be flesh & blood. m'I ready for a heartache! (for good reasons or bad!). My heart was pumping fast.
Phone ringing..... Gosh! is he so early? I'm supposed to join office today & meet him in the evening. Office called "your outstationed trainees are waiting for you, they are supposed to join you from today, papers given, you check office as soon as you come".
I could not concentrate at work, my mind was somewhere far. Finally admitted my trainees to work under me on a project & took half day leave & reached home exhausted.
I looked at me in the mirror & said "you are supposed to look beautiful today & look how messed up you look??" No time for a makeover. Girl! you would never improve! Forget it I said to myself, beauty lies in the eyes of a beholder. I am done in a natures way... natural & simple.
The door bell rang & I peeped through the eye piece. Shy & glitter in my eyes, I opened the door. He smiled & said excitedly, " hey you look just 18". And I cherish that complement forever.

These are few of my tips to stay 18 till you die...

  • Every time you wash your face, rinse your mouth and clean your eyes. Splashing yours eyes with cold water in the morning gives sparkle in the eyes.

  • Wear cotton clothing. It help skin to breathe & remain healthy.

  • Chew mint leaves or saunf to keep mouth smelling fresh. Chewing gums with mint will also do...

  • Always apply scent to skin & not to clothing.

  • Wear good sun glassess. They are essential to your eyes & help you look stylish too!

  • Replace your beauty product often.

  • Lavish your dull & dry skin with honey. Apply it on face & neck & wash it off with warm water. Aah! beautiful!

  • Always wear a bra, no matter how small is your breast.

  • Keep your nails shining, dap them with olive oil often.

These are few of the tips that helps keeping you natural & simple. Follow them as long as you live & you will need no artificial means to look your best.

Hey! Beautiful

Know Ur Value....!

I wished if people really value their old parents, wife, children, friends or anyone who comes through once in their life. Value their feelings and consider them important part of their life.
A simple rejection in our lives makes us feel miserable as we are unable to react to it. Sadness, loneliness and disappointment take over and bring in lot of emotional feelings, sometimes they are so intense and sensitive that one wants to take away own’s life.
I have no answers why people reject or unable to accept others. But I have answer for people who are considered not worth and are rejected for unknown reasons. Be proud & know that you are very valuable indeed!
Read below lines and gain inspiration……

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note.
In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"
Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.
"VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"

"Make some corner of the world distinctively yours"

My best wishes.........

Success

To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty,
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a little better;
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is the meaning of success.

Ik dujhe ke liye........

Chand kya kare agar chandni na ho
Shama kya kare agar parvane na ho
Bana hai har ik kissi ik ke liye
Tum bhi ho jao bas mere liye!
The days in teens are the best in one's life. No worrying about the future... just enjoying the freshness of each day that life has to offer.
The girl's hostel (usually called Hall here) where most of my teens was spent, was itself have been a very refreshing experience of my life.
When recall these instances, it just brings smile on my face.
Well, the wait is for SUNDAY, a special day for visitors to visit the Hall. The visitors are no doubt special people visiting the dear inmates, but not to mention the special people includes the boy-friends at large....
This day is not like a usual day.... its like forget & forgive the seniors to hold restrictions for jeans & T-shirts... no queuing for breakfast or thinking of lectures to be attended or bunked or spending hours at mess eating lunch & digesting gossips or even hurrying for the evening tea, making it not a miss!
Its something special... when hunger is not felt, the thoughts are of not books... the girls dressing up more... the roomates helping them look best.. providing the best accessories if one is missing it... accomplanied with accolades of laughter & happiness.
In this University's islamic atmosphere with tons of restrictions to hold, each heart still beats inside & makes a wish today if its me.......the lucky one!
These are the days when mobile phones are rare in hands & the only means of communication to happiness is a small peice of paper which contains the name of the lucky one.
"Reshma bibi apke liye visitor hai", the watchman bhaiya's dutiful voice.
Thus leaving the small paper at hands of Reshma bringing a bushful smile at her face. Her steps almost running with joy and sparying happiness all around, felt by all of us.
Finally, Reshma is with her love, sitting chatting till the watchman bhai's voice unwillingly enters her ears "Visiting time khatam ho gaya".
Its a farewell to this special SUNDAY and welcome of happiness and love to many Reshma's in the Hall.
Jate huve humsafar ko shayad sab ne yehi kaha hoga......
"karte hai hum pyar Mr....... se
Humko milna sau baar Mr...... se"

Happy Valentine's Day!

When many couples would be celebrating Valentine special, pink cards & candle light dinners... When the air would be filled with love & excitement.... When love birds would be holding hands & walking.... When some Shiv saniaks would be damaging the wonderful parties...

This is what I would be doing ALONE... dreaming & humming this song for someone far away & wishing him Happy Valentine's Day!

I will remember you
I will be walking one day,
Timelessly far away,
And see your face in a crowd & smile,
knowing how U made me laugh,
Hearing sweet eckles of you from the past,
I will remember you.
Look in my eyes while you're near,
Tell me whats happening here,
See that I don't want to say Goodbye,
Our love is closer than time,
I'll be your companion & you'll be mine,
I will remember you.
Later on, when this fire's is an ember,
Later on, when the nights not so tender,
Give a time, though it is hard to remember,
Darling that I'll be holding you,
I'll still be holding on to you,
I will remember you
So many years gone & gone,
& yet the memory is strong
One word we never could learn-Goodbye
True love is closer than time
I'll be your companion & you'll be mine.
I will remember you............
Happy Valentine's Day!

Tanha

Kuch accha nahi lagta, jeene ka dil nahi karta. Tasveeroun ke sahare, pyar ke sahare aur umeed ke sahare bus ji rahe hain......

Kya phool kabhi khilne se phele murjhaya hai??? Hamara angan aysi hi phool se bhara pada hai.......

'DOR'

That's the movie by Nagesh Kukunoor that I watched last Sunday. Good work. 'Dor' as the name says has a bind with all characters plus the audience. You really feel for the two women playing the lead.
I feel you appreciate a movie more when you associate yourself with some character in the film, it was same here with me. The pain of departing loved ones was same that I feel everyday....
NRI's should think that earning an extra dollar aboard will never ever compensate the pain of separation your your loved ones goes through everyday. Come back home.....

Respect

A man hurt my leg unintentionally. Stumbled & then felt very sorry for it, he also made a jesture of touching my feet with his hand, then touched his forehead & finally kissed his fingers of that very hand. This is a common jesture with many Indians to be sorry.
It made me wonder when we pay so much of respect for the person we hurt a little then why many a times we forget the same respect at national level? Why we have riots, hatred and anti-Hindu/Muslims demostrations?
Wonder why we don't respect others all the times.........

Marriage

According to me, marriage is a life time commitment. It is a commitment to care & love each other till the end. Compromise & sacrifice if situation demands. Be compassionate & more forgiving to each other. Share the thoughts, the plans, the happiness with a goal that only we two will bring this home together in all ups & downs. The challenge of marriage is making it work for a lifetime. Trusting each other implicitly, when u do that you are able to go through life with a tremendous amount of confidence in each other. Trust is built on a foundation of fidelity and commitment between the couple. Marriage is also compatibility, Friendship, Patience andunderstanding. Communication is vital & it should be the best way to ease problems away from each other. I strongly believe this.
