Nobody likes pain, nobody wants a relationship to end in tears, but unfortunately sometimes you see the most innocent, sincere and good-hearted people suffer endlessly and constantly in such emotional pain. It is almost impossible to pick up the scar from a wound that has not properly healed.
But, there has to come a time of releasing the one who has hurt you and move on with your life. To release someone, you have to forgive them. Only when you forgive the blameworthy, you will start the process of healing. It is not healthy to stay in a state of emotional bondage. If we release through forgiveness the one who has hurt us, we are released too and can move on to greater things.
There is no safe investment. To love at all is to be vulnerable.
When true love arrives, God always lets you know somehow.
