When I came across this, honestly it changed something inside me. Brilliant work by him!

Allama Iqbal was certainly one of the greatest Eastern poet, philosopher and seer of humanity of all times…
He provided guidance, spiritual support and inspiration to the downtrodden and demolarized people of the subcontinent.
One of his poetic verse always inspires me, when he said:
Khudi ko kar buland itna kay har taqdeer se pahlay
Khuda banday se khud pochay bata terey raza kya hai
There is so much depth that is embedded in this verse.
Anyways, when a school teacher asked a young Pathan student what is the meaning of the above mentioned Iqbal's couplet, he said:
Allah bolta hai banday se kay upar jao, aur upar jao, khochay tum himmat karo ar badalon se bhe upar jao. Jab banda upar chala gaya to usko bohat sardi lagi.
Phir Allah nay poocha khochay tera razai kidhar hai?

yes, u have a good sense of humor, itne khoobsurat shair par bhi apne ik humourous line likh di!
that's a good way to teach a student too, I am sure the student must have never forgotten this shair ever in his life.... :-) m' just being positive....

ijazat hai to irshad karon:
