For Association of Muslim Professional, students of various schools from all over Maharastra and other guest & dignitaries......
Assalamo Alaikum,
It was a great honor for me to address the auspicious gathering at Career fest 2015 for the noble mission of motivating and enlightening the Muslim youths of India towards education and provide them with guidance to move in the right direction, and become the proud and productive citizens of our beloved homeland.
Education is the wealth and power of knowledge that nobody can ever steal from you. The training of a human mind is not complete without education. It teaches the human mind how to think not just what to think. Education makes a man a great thinker. It gives a human being the power to think logically and make wise and practical decisions in the interest of peace and humanity in this world.
Great Nations in history are always respected because of their educational achievements which have helped mankind. Without proper education, we cannot receive information from the external world.
When the Holy Qur'an was being revealed to our beloved Prophet Nabi e Kareem Salallahu walay wasalam, the first word commanded by Allah Subhano watala was 'Iqra' which means Read. A scholar in Islam is always accorded great respect in the hadith, where it is said that the ink of the pen of a scholar is more precious than the blood of a martyr. As such, it is the duty of an Alim to build individuals and nations along positive and progressive lines. Islam attaches great importance to the acquisition of Education.
Education in this century is extremely important as never before to face the complex and unique challenges that the mankind is facing all over the world today. We also need Education to make this world more secure and peaceful, to understand and communicate more intelligently, to negotiate, to agree, to disagree respectfully, to resolve mutual conflicts in amicable and civilized ways, to demand Justice and human rights in a democratic way, and also to learn to compromise in the interest of Peace and humanity. Education removes the ugly shadows of ignorance and bring you out of the darkness of false arrogance.
The most notable Champion of Education for the Indian Muslims has been Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, May Allah bless his soul. He was the Modernist Islamic Reformer who pioneered Modern Education for our Muslim community in India, by founding the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University. It was basically because of his devotion and efforts that we produced a new generation of Intellectuals. We must be fiercely committed to continue that mission as our survival depends on it.
Every Muslim parent must understand that their future depends on how well they educate their children. These parents must teach their children that only through Education, they can achieve whatever they dream and wish, and live a respectable life, provided they are ambitious and hardworking. We want to be a nation of doers instead of a bunch of crybabies standing and waiting for a government handout which we will never receive. The time has come for the Indian Muslims to embark in search of Education and Knowledge.
In a true Aligarian spirit of accepting new challenges of the modern day world, I urge all Muslim educational organisations and Staff to get involved to combat the new challenge of educating our young generation, and establish a think tank to see how the future generation of Indian Muslims can be motivated towards the pursuit of Education. We must realize the dream of “No Muslim child left behind for education in India”.
I hope we the Indian Muslims can concentrate on our mission and speed up our social and economic progress. For this, we need adequate funding and qualified staffing. I am grateful to AMP for doing this but we should also approach International agencies and other Indian Muslims locally and abroad to help establish more schools and libraries for our students and help this mission.
To me brothers and sisters in Islam, Education does not mean just conquering the outer space, but also the inner space. With Education, we must be able to conquer the atom and also our prejudice. We must clean the pollution of the air and also not allow to pollute our souls and heart.
Education must not be acquired just to get a better paying job, but to brighten our lives with awareness, confidence and to see what is coming in future.
In the end, let me take an opportunity to emphasize the importance of educating the women in our society. Every woman in the world should be free from any social barrier, discrimination and unwarranted obstacles to acquire higher education and to become productive and responsible citizens of the country. Education is very important for the woman’s security. Women are often deprived of their due rights due to ignorance and illiteracy. Islam therefore, allows women many rights. Muslim women should be allowed education rights so that she can also be a good teacher to her children. In the modern world today, we are seeing more and more educated and progressive women influencing in shaping of our societies as writers, engineers, scientists, politicians and even athletes.
Muslim women should be counseled and helped to establish Engineering and Medicine as highly desirable career aspiration.
Finally, I wish to thank the illustrious organizers of this program for inviting me, representing me as a role model and giving me the opportunity to speak, and I wish to assure them of all my co-operation and assistance for this noble cause in future again.
Thanks again
Wasalam.

When Mu'min enters into Jannat, it will be announced:-
You will remain healthy forever, disease will never come.
You will remain alive for ever, death will never come.
You will remain in bounties which will never be finished.
Jannat is made with bricks of gold and silver, Its cement is of perfumed musk. Its chips are pearls and Yaqoot. Its sand is Zafraan.
There are eight doors of Jannat. These are eight grades of Jannat :
i) Jannatul Mava
ii) Darul Maqaam
iii) Darul Salaam
iv) Darul Khuld
v) Jannat-ul-Adan
vi) Jannat-ul-Naeem
vii) Jannat-ul-Kasif
viii) Jannat-ul-Firdous
Food of Jannat
They will eat foods and fruits continuously up to 40 years. Every bowl will have a new taste. They will take eructation which will digest the food and there will be perfumed sweating for the digestion of water. There will be no urine and stool.
Garden of Jannat
There will be gardens in Jannat. Every garden will have the length of about 100 years journey. The shadow of these gardens will be very dense.
Their plants will be free of thorns. The size of their leaves will be equal to ears of elephants. Their fruits will be hanging in rows.
Jannatul Mava is in the lowest, Jannat-ul-Adan is the middle and Jannat-ul- Firdous is on the highest. Those who-love each other for the sake of Allah, will get a pillar of Yaqoot, on which there will be seventy thousand (70,000) rooms. These will shine for the residents of Jannah as the sun shines for the residents of Duniya.
There will be rooms in Jannah in such a way that every room will have seventy thousands (70,000) dinning sheets. On every dinning sheet 70,000 types of foods will be served.
For their service 80,000 young boys will be moving around looking like beautiful scattered pearls.
One bunch of dates will be equal to the length of 12 arms. The size of a date will be equal to the big pitcher. These will be whiter than milk, sweater than honey and softer than butter and free from seeds. The stem of these plants will be made up of gold and silver.
There will also be gardens of grapes. The bunches of grapes will be very big. The size of a single grape will be equal to a big pitcher (pot).
Someone asked, Ya Rasulullah Sallalahu alaihi wasallam: will it be sufficient for me and my family. It was answered, it will be sufficient for you and your whole tribe.
The Dresses of Jannat
The dress of Jannat will be very beautiful. One will wear 70 dresses at a time. These will be very fine, delicate, weightless, having different colors. These dresses will be so fine that the body even the heart will be visible. And the waves of love in the hearts will also be visible. These dresses will never become old, never be dirty and will never tear.
There will be four canals in every Jannat. They are of water, milk, honey and Sharabun Tahoora.
There will also be three fountains in Jannat. (i) Kafoor. (ii) Zanjabeel. (iii) Tasneem
Qualities of People of Jannat
In Jannat, height of every Mo'min, will be equal to the height of Hazrat Adam Alaihissalaam = 60 arms (90 feet).
Beauty will be like that of Hazrat Yousuf Alaihissalaam
Age of youth will be like that of Hazrat Esa Alaihissalaam (30-33 years).
Sweetness of voice will be like that of Hazrat Dawud Alaihissalaam.
Tolerance will be like that of Hazrat Yaqoob Alaihissalaam
Patience will be like that of Hazrat Ayyub Alaihissalaam.
Habits will be like that of Sayyadina Muhammad Sallalahu alaihi wasallam.
If a person makes Du'a for Jannat three times, Jannat requests Allah that O, Allah; make his entry into Jannat. And if a person makes Du'a for safety from Jahannum three times, the Jahannnum requests Allah that, O, Allah; save him from Jahannum.

A big city lawyer went duck hunting in rural Alabama. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence.
As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.
The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it." The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the country and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own.
The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle disputes in Alabama . We settle small disagreements like this; with the "Three Kick Rule." The lawyer asked, "What is the Three Kick Rule?" The Farmer replied, "Well, because the dispute occurs on my land, I get to go first. I kick you three times and then you kick me three times and so on back and forth until someone gives up."
The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.
The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the attorney. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy steel toed work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees.
His second kick to the midriff sent the lawyer's last meal gushing from his mouth. The lawyer was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end sent him face-first into a fresh cow pie.
The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet. Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "O'kay, you old fart. Now it's my turn."
[I love this part}.

The old farmer smiled and said, "Nah, I give up. You can have the duck.

After watching the live telecast of Coronation ceremony of US President Barrack Hussain Obama and listening to his speech, I became a fan of Obama.
I really love this picture. He is taking presidential oath, keeping his left hand on the bible which his wife Michelle Obama is holding & the two daughters admirably smiling at their father.
One thing that many may agree with me is that Obama is a very family oriented person. He loves his wife and children very much. This love is his strenght and that would allow him to take all challenges that may come on his way.
He described in his speech that he is humbled by the trust, the people had bestowed upon him, grateful and mindful too. America is going to be friend of every nation, big or small. He wanted to revive the American economy which is given to him at the worst possible condition. He also wants America to lead the world once again.
He did mention the world has changed & America too needs to change. "Yes, we can", was heard in chorus.
It may take time for him to prove and HOPE will always be there. But for me now seems this year 2009 has truly begin with "HOPE"......
HOPE for me and you..... and the change we can do....
Congratulations! BARRACK HUSSAIN OBAMA!!

Its Nov 26th.
I recieved a call from my sports instructor to report at the ground. Well... I said to myself... what if I could miss this... Is there anyway??
Finally I reached the ground... there were bags and water bottles, but no sight of them. I glanced through all over, where could I find running people... but no sight...
This has been a great chance to escape... a thought purged into my mind...
Finally I could'nt take up standing alone there, informed few people sitting nearby... spectators who usualy are there viewing all activities. Inform them about me, when these people return... "I was actually here"
Both nodded
"Good".....as if I had been courteous to them for being here on time :-)
Entering home I was on top of my voice..." hey I am free.. lets go out!!"
Excited everyone was ready in minutes... by auto then by local train... man we are here in Mumbai malls, foodies... so fun so good...
We shopped, shopped and shopped till our hands said, can't carry anymore bags!
The 'CENTRAL' was a big place to be in. The dinner too had been awesome... what else we need for a perfect day to have... I was telling myself.
There was one person in my group who was criticizing me that I made him missed his cricket match... and here & there I had been pinching him saying whats fun is there to watch one sided games...
"C'mon forget it & enjoy...please...." my 'please' was having a pleading tone.
Mumbai is a place where no one can be deprived of fun and excitement. I had always visualized it to be a beautiful city to be lived in and work.
About the worst fact about Mumbai is that it takes away a lot from you before giving a lot to you!! My philosophy ended when this note came in.
"Lets go home atleast let me see the ending of the match... it must be in final overs!"
"ok.. we are going.."
Its 9.17 local train and 9.45 pm home. We switched the TV & watched the matched... oh! wow so coolly these men in blue have won.... I can bet now this series will be wrap with 7-0..... India making wonders really... this will be a dream coming true series 7-0 ..I was quick to put my expert views.... but had to cut short when...
"hunnn.... lets see what happens, who knows what tomorrow holds"
"okay... I am damn tired & need sleep"... I headed straight to my couch.
Nov 27th 8.00am
I am way to my office.
Lift opens with few children & men. All quite. Then one spoke.... "Ball le aana, niche khelenge"
I wondered why this children have no school today. One of them said "Aj chotti de di gayi"
"De di gayi"????.... I was wondering... or did I hear it wrong.
8.15am
I am at the security check North Gate. It looks no normal check.
"Why is it so tight security....? Who is coming today... I mean VIPP?" in a mischief way I smiled to the officer.
It usually happens here that when the VIPP is coming you get to go through such damn security checks which takes your precious energy and mood. They makes you feel so vulnarable... I hate it.... I hate it.... sach mai... :-)
But prompt came the reply from the security personnel...
"Mumbai sieged...Have'nt you seen 100 people died & the terrorist are on run"
Oh! my God, where should I take this head to hide... I felt so sick learning that....
"Sorry! I have'nt watched the news..."
How could I have learn't... I am a fan of CNBC.... with the market's meltdown... I don't go through them too!!
At office I hurriedly open few websites to get the latest... called home to tell them to switch on TV and dare no one goes out. Then my phone started ringing with calls from lovable and concerned people all over the globe... Is everything ok with you??
"Oh GOD! I JUST MISSED A DATE WITH TERROR... MAN WE JUST RETURNED AT QUATER TO 10 HOME FROM THERE & ALL THIS HAPPENED AT 10"....
I had to inform all of them...
I hated to see the beautiful TAJ Palace burning... where I have taken so many of my picture opposite it...
I hated to see the brave police personnels dying....
I hated to see the people, hotel staff, tourist and foriegn delegates dying...injuring....running....
I hated to see the all innocent people being the victim of this heinous terror act...
This beautiful Mumbai... where I live and work... has been torn to peices... the hearts broken... the dream slashed.... the spirit to bounce back gone....
I am sad... I am ashammed.... I feel terrible as if I have been attacked!
I feel so helpless....... :-(

(Village girl filling water at borewell & happily posing for the camera)
Children running around... running at the back of our jeep... trying to catch it....
(The bulluck-cart kept in fornt of a village house)
Everywhere its a makeover time... the rains have given an alarming bell... the roof tiles (kavelu)are being replaced... the hay is being stocked up for the cattle feed....

(Man preparing his house roof for rains)
My uncles have a huge house, just like a square with a big angan at the center. As a kid on summer vacation, when my mother used to bring all our siblings we used to sleep here in open. The rows of beds would be laid, it was giggling and masti till late night. The cover over a head twinkling so beautifully, big & small... the moon light was so good that you could spot the calmness of beautiful faces sleeping around....
This time there was no evidence of all my childhood reminisces... the Aagan was not cleaned, bushes grown here & there. I asked why maintaince is not being done... and the reply was not shocking... as practical as it could be... who stays here...some have moved to cities for schooling and others for job...
I felt bad but understood.... as I too was not here after all these long years just to have fun filled vacation... my trip was much more commercial than personal.... I was making trip to register office for land purchase deal... also had preplanned each and every minute of my days stay here. My every minute seemed so precious today....
I recollected that earlier it was not like this... I had plenty of time... for every thing... where am I lost... this time I was not in haste to visit our Baag (mango farm) and the Baag ki nadi (river near farm)... it was a must trip for everyone in those childhood times... our lunches used to be of all kind of friuts in Baag then... the stomach would make watery sound with all fruit juices inside, when we used to run back home...
I lost something?? I wondered.... but then I realised when all are leaving.. I am coming back here... If not my presence atleast there is something related to me... they all will remember me in some way or the other.... the houses, the lanes, the Baag and the Baag ki nadi....
I hope !!
